Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV  is one of the noted directors in the Indian film industry. He is best known for his 1998  directorial venture Satya.  His movies are noted for their gritty realism, technical finesse, and craft. But RGV has not tasted success for a long period of time. He often made headlines for his outrageous comments that many perceived as offensive. He also landed in trouble a few times for his controversial remarks.  His film  Ladki: Enter The Girl Dragon, which released on the 15th of July, 2022 debuted at No7 in China. According to the latest report, on its release day, RGV’ woman oriented martial arts film earned US $70K  gross Including previews,  and the total collections is US $100K..

The industry tracker Ramesh Bala confirmed the same by  sharing a post on Twitter, “#RGV ‘s #EnterTheGirlDragon debuts at No.7 in China today.. Day 1 Gross is US $70K.. Including previews, the total is US $100K..

Earlier during an interview,  RGV revealed about how Bruce Lee’s film Enter The Dragon in 1973 inspired him to make a martial arts film.  The name of his movie is heavily inspired from Bruce Lee’s Enter The Dragon too.

The movie Ladki: Enter the Girl Dragon stars newcomer Pooja Bhalekar as a martial arts expert.
