We have already reported, Telugu lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, who was undergoing treatment at a city hospital, passed away few days ago. The hospital authorities revealed in a statement that the veteran lyricist, passed away due to lung cancer-related complications. Sensational film maker Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV also expressed his condolences on the demise of Telugu lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry. Yesterday evening RGV took to his twitter to share a video and said, “Here is my kiss to Seetharama Shastry for the greatest life changing inspirational song, ever written in history.”
Recently Sathya film maker also shared his memories of working with Sirivennela. The untimely demise of Sirivennela has sent shockwaves across the country, especially among those, who are associated with the South Film industry.
RGV and Seetharama Shastry worked together in few films such as Antam, Govinda Govinda, Siva, Gaayam, Kshana Kshanam, and Rangeli.
In his video, RGV had said that Sirivennela Seetharama Shastry would go to heaven and added he was an inspiration for the upcoming generations.
Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry has penned over 3000 songs to his credit and has penned for films such as Kshana Kshanam, Shrutilayalu, Sindhooram, Swarna Kamalam, Swayamkrushi, Swati Kiranam, Nuvve Kavali, Okkadu, Varsham and Gamyam.
