Finally Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau – NCB in the drugs case linked to the death of her boyfriend and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. She was summoned on the third consecutive day by the NCB. Her younger brother Showik Chakraborty, two close aides of Sushant Singh Rajput– Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant – and a few others have already been arrested by the NCB in connection with the case.
The CBI, ED and NCB are currently involved in the investigation of Kedarnath and MS Dhoni fame Sushant Singh Rajput’ death case. The sources revealed that Rhea Chakraborty admitted that she was consuming not just marijuana, but also hard drugs. During the interrogation, Rhea Chakraborty revealed that whenever she called Sushant Singh Rajput’ house help Dipesh Sawant and asked for drugs, it was not for her but for Sushant Singh Rajput and his friends. The actress claimed that she has never consumed drugs. On the other side, the sources revealed that Rhea Chakraborty had smoke cigarettes.
Sources in NCB said she has admitted to procuring drugs for Sushant, whose death on 14th June triggered a furore.
During the interrogation, Rhea Chakraborty also revealed that through his brother Showik Chakraborty, she had met the drug peddler Basit Parihar, who is currently in Narcotics Control Bureau’ custody and he used to visit their house.
