Rishab Shetty starrer film Kantara opened in theatres on September 30 and emerged as a blockbuster in Karnataka. The movie soon worked its magic in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam to become a pan-India sensation. Rajinikanth, Anushka Shetty and Prabhas have already showered praises on this film. It is an action thriller, produced by Vijay Kirgandur under Hombale Films. Rishab Shetty had a meeting with Rajinikanth recently, days after the Tamil superstar reviewed his film and sang praises of it.
Rishab Shetty took to his official Instagram handle to share few pics. In the first photo, Rishab Shetty can be seen touching Rajinikanth’ feet and seeking blessings from him. The second photo shows him sitting with Kabali star and the two seem to be in a deep discussion. In the third photo, both pose together for the camera.
The movie Kantara revolves around Bhootha Kola, a traditional dance for the deity. Apart from Rishab Shetty, the film also has Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, and Pramod Shetty. It is Vijay Kirgandur under Hombale Films, the banner behind blockbuster KGF. It was recently reported that Kantara would be released on OTT on 4th November 2022. The film makers, however, dismissed the rumors.
