TPCC Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief A Revanth Reddy and his bete noire and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy finally had a meeting, that has become the hot topic on political circle. It is well known that they do not see eye to eye and have been sniping at each other for months now.
After a very long time, Venkat Reddy visited Gandhi Bhavan, to meet the Congress’s Telangana in-charge Manikrao Thakre who came to the city to oversee preparations for the ‘Hath se Hath Jodo’ yatra which is scheduled to begin on 26 January.
Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy met his enemy, Telangana PCC chief Revanth Reddy at Gandhi Bhavan and this meeting was arranged by Telangana Congress in-charge Manikrao Thakare, who is currently in Hyderabad city to address the party internal matters for the next few days. Komatireddy’s presence at Gandhi Bhavan, where he had previously shown reluctance to go, shocked many. Bhongir MP and Revanth Reddy had a private discussion for over an hour.
Earlier, Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said to the reporters that he came to Gandhi Bhavan on an invitation from Manikrao Thakre. He said he had never declared that he would not visit Gandhi Bhavan. According to him, as he was busy in his constituency, was not very much visible these days.
