Unexpectedly, Team India left its power in the 2nd ODI against England, which took place yesterday. England won by 100 runs and levelled the three-match series 1-1. Rohit Sharma, the skipper of Team India claimed that 247 was convenient target in the 2nd ODI but our batters gave up the ghost with pathetic performance.

For just 31, India lost their top 4 batters, while two of them are the captain Rohit Sharma and a powerful player Rishabh Pant, who failed to open their success gate. Rohit said India began the game at a vigorous note as they were in control with ball and restricted England to 246, but the batters couldnt live up to expectations.
During the post-match presentation, Rohit Sharma said, “We bowled pretty well to start with. They had a partnership in the middle with Moeen and Willey. By no means that target wasn’t chaseable but we disn’t bat well. One of the batters from the top orders has to play a big inning when the team alliance is contains 5 bowlers and an all-rounder.”
He further added, “Have to take clothes, something we’ve been talking a lot. All in all, we bowled pretty well. Took me by surprise. Thought the pitch will get better and better. Going to be an exciting one in Manchester. Have to look at what we need to do better. Have to glance at the conditions there and modify”, concluded Rohit Sharma.
