Performance: Ashish Reddy, the nephew of Dil Raju, makes his debut with Rowdy Boys and he justifies his role. Even though Rowdy Boys is his first film, he looks good on the screen . He emotes well. Anupama Parameshwaran is gorgeous as always and her fans will go gaga about her for sure. Another actor, Sahidev Vikram, does justice to his role. Tej Kurapati and Komalee Prasad are decent, at best. The rest of the cast are newcomers and they perform well.
Technical: The story of Rowdy Boys is predictable . The Screenplay is good and the dialogues are highlighted. Songs are eye-catching and foot-tapping. Devi Sri Prasad does a good job with its background score that elevates the film well. The Action sequences are well choreographed. Production values are rich. Cinematography is breathtaking. Cinematographer Madhie, showcased the rich and lovely visuals of Tamil Nadu. Coming to the work of director Harsha Konuganti, he has done just an okay job with the film.
Analysis: Overall Rowdy Boys is an average college drama.
