Times have changed where only genuine hits are celebrated and success meets were held. Nowadays producers have been conducting success meets on the day of release or over the weekend. The real intention behind these press meets has been clear over the years, just to condemn any negative talk being spread over the film and make the audience move towards theaters. While the intention is not a bad thing, how we behave in those press meets certainly matters. Vijay Deverakonda who generally over emotes or speaks with full enthusiasm has done it again. In fact, we can say he has gone overboard this time.
It is known that Vijay Deverakonda maiden production venture Meeku Maatrame Chepta released yesterday and opened to average reviews. Critics have written off the film as it is in the lines of Tarun Bhaskar’s debut directorial and offers nothing new in terms of making style. Still, Vijay Deverakonda has conducted a success meet of this film.
The real problem comes now. Vijay Deverakonda said that he is suffering from fever, if not fever, he would have celebrated the film’s success with a champagne bottle. That’s not yet. On the stage, he asked for a paracetamol tablet and taken it with water on stage.
What is the need for such an act? Why did he take paracetamol in front of all? First of all, he should have conducted the event when all is well for him. If he wants to conduct a success meet, he should have just said that he is suffering from fever and leave the issue there.
But taking paracetamol infront of all on stage is definitely over the board act. Well, he could have done this for publicity and wants us to talk about him, which we are doing it anyways. Meeku Maatrame Chepta is directed by Shammeer Sultan.
