Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is on the board to play a crucial role in upcoming movie RRR, which is being directed by none other than Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli. Action Jackson star Ajay Devgn might play this macho man fighting off goons in most of his movies, but in real life he is a bit of a scaredy-cat. Recently Singham star Ajay Devgn attended the Kapil Sharma’ comedy show and talked about the incident on the sets of RGV aka Ram Gopa Varma’ Bhoot which made him scared of elevators for life.
Ajay Devgn is also busy in the promotional activities of his upcoming movie De De Pyaar De in which he will be seen romancing with Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh. The romantic entertainer is hitting the theatres on 17th May. On Kapil Sharma’ show, Ajay Devgn recalled an incident that took place 16 years ago on the sets of Ram Gopal Varma’ Bhoot.
Ajay Devgn said, “The team of Ram Gopal Varma’ Bhoot was shooting on the 28th floor of a building. One day during the shoot, the elevator he was using malfunctioned. It crashed from the 4th floor to the basement and I was stuck in it for an hour-and-a-half. Later i took the stairs to reach the location even though it was on the 28th floor.” He added that the incident made me claustrophobic.
Ever since that incident, RRR actor Ajay Devgn makes sure he rides elevators only with glass walls, so that he can see outside. Ajay Devgn is blaming Ram Gopal Varma for his fear of elevators.
Ram Gopal Varma’ directorial venture Bhoot starring Ajay Devgn and Urmila Matondkar.
