RRR actor Samuthirakani has been roped in upcoming highly anticipated film Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja #RT66. Samuthirakani is the latest addition of this upcoming flick #RT66 in which Shruti Haasan will be seen sharing the screen space with Ravi Teja. The Tamil director turned actor Samuthirakani who is currently working with SS Rajamouli’s RRR is zeroed in to play a vital role in #RT66, which will be helmed by Gopichand Malineni. However, details of Samuthirakani’s role in the film are kept under wraps for now.

The fans and film audience are very excited about RT66 with Ravi Teja, Samuthirakani and Shruti Haasan playing the lead role. RT66 will have music by Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’s music director S Thaman. The upcoming flick is known to be the director Gopichand Malineni’s ambitious projects and the fans are eagerly looking forward to the film.

Ravi Teja will be seen playing the role of a tough police officer. #RT66 starring Ravi Teja and Samuthirakani will be launched sometime this month with a formal pooja ceremony.

Recently during the media interaction, Gopichand Malineni said, “Our film, #RT66 with Ravi Teja is neither inspired nor a remake of any film. It is an original story based on true incidents that happened in the Telugu States. Ravi Teja will essay powerful cop and we will start shooting on 14th November in Hyderabad.”

About title, Gopichand Malineni said, “I have come across a few articles claiming that our film has been titled Crack, etc. The title is not yet finalized.”

Ravi Teja is currently focusing on the much-awaited sci-fi drama, Disco Raja. This film will see Nabha Natesh as the female lead. Nabha Natesh featured in the blockbuster film called iSmart Shankar starring the young and energetic actor Ram Pothineni, helmed by director Puri Jagannadh.

Samuthirakani has worked as an assistant to director K Balachander. His 2009 directorial Naadodigal was a decent hit at the box office, which was later remade in three languages. He has acted in several films such as Subramaniapuram, Easan, Saattai, Kaappaan, and Oppam.
