SS Rajamouli ‘ magnum opus RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR has created a benchmark for other filmmakers here by becoming one of the most successful Indian films ever made. RRR is a fictional story about two real-life Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem and their fight against the British Raj. RRR has surpassed the multi-starrer epic of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Avengers Endgame in terms of ratings on popular site. RRR is one of the biggest hits of 2022 and not just in India but also abroad. This is an incredible feat that made Tollywood proud.
RRR has been included in the Rotten Tomatoes Best Films of 2022 list. Rajamouli’ magnum opus opened to packed theatres in the month of March and crossed over Rs 1200 cr at the global box office and found immense success in the US.
Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer was released on Netflix a couple of weeks ago, and became a streaming success in the US, jumping by over 50 percent in its second week of release on streaming. In its second week, the movie marked its spot in the top ten in 57 countries, making waves across the world.
RRR was released in Hindi on Netflix whereas, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions are available on ZEE5.
