RRR Box office collections:  Rajamouli’ magnum opus  RR was released on 25th March 2022. In just six days of its release, Jr NTR and  Ram Charan starrer RRR has crossed a huge milestone. It has surpassed the lifetime earnings SS Rajamouli’ own 2015 film Baahubali: The Beginning.  RRR has minted Rs 672.16 Cr  and crushed the collections record of Baahubali’ The Beginning lifetime gross of Rs 650 cr to become the 7th highest grossing Indian movie of all time.

Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR is a period drama, which has been made on a budget of over Rs 300 crore,  and it is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment.  RRR is a fictional story set in the 1920s pre-independent era and is based on the lives of Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (essayed by Tarak) .
