RRR Box Office Collections: Young Tiger Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer Pan India film RRR was released yesterday, 25th March. The film has opened to a massive opening in India and around the world and is on the record breaking spree. According to the makers of RRR, the movie has earned Rs 223 cr gross on 1st day. The production house confirmed the same by releasing a new poster on the official Twitter handle.
Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Charan and Tarak. RRR is produced on a massive budget of Rs 450 crore by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment.
The movie also has Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani, Ajay Devgn, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris in the important roles.
As per the traders report, Hindi dubbed version of RRR alone contributed to Rs 19 crore from the northern territories, a number much higher than other recent South releases. Both Allu Arjun starrer rural drama Pushpa: The Rise and Prabhas starrer romantic saga Radhe Shyam’s Hindi versions did a business of around Rs 3-4 crore on their respective opening days.
