RRR Hindi Box Office Collections: We have already reported that Jayantilal Gada ‘Pen Studios has bagged the North Indian theatrical rights of SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus, RRR, fronted by Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. The production house has bagged the theatrical rights of the Hindi dubbed version as also the rights to release Telugu, Tamil and other version of RRR in the North Indian market.
Jayantilal Gada has also acquired the electronic, digital and satellite rights of all languages of this period drama RRR, set in the 1900s. RRR, the much awaited RRR was released yesterday. According to the traders report, the movie has collected Rs 12 Cr on its first day. The revenues of the coming days depend on the crucial word of mouth of the audience.
RK tweeted, “Day1 business of RRR Hindi is Rs 12Cr. Means it is a disaster. Jayanti Lal Gada paid Rs 100 crore for Hindi theatrical only.”
He further said, “ The distributor Jayantilal Gada was expecting Rs.40 to 50Cr opening of RRR so he can’t digest the fact that first day business is only Rs 12 CR. Now he will get help of media to declare Rs18 CR. But these fake collections are not going to help trade.”
