Few people in the film industry are saying that the interval scene of Rajamouli’s RRR is inspired by a storyline of 53 years old Telugu film ‘Manchi Mitrulu’, which was released in 1969.  The movie was helmed by Rama Rao Tatineni and it starred  Sobhan Babu, Gitanjali, Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala.
