DOP Senthil Kumar is one of the top cinematographers of South Indian Film Industry, and he has worked with SS Rajamouli in most of his projects such as Yamadonga, Magadheera, Eega, Baahubali series- Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and he is currently handling the cinematography for much-hyped big-budget project RRR. Recently during the media interaction, Senthil Kumar talked about RRR.
Senthil Kumar revealed the biggest challenge while shooting the film. The DOP Senthil Kumar said, “Mostly I have worked with SS Rajamouli sir. When we work, we both know what we want, and finally, it’s about the output. While both Baahubali and RRR are proud films, RRR is quite different from Baahubali since it’s a realistic period film set in the pre-independence India era. RRR is also a period film but not like Bahubali – a more realistic kind of period film. The main challenge is how authentically we can present the movie RRR, because people will know how India was during that time.”
Senthil Kumar added, “The period drama RRR starring Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Ram Charan will exceed audience expectations just as every SS Rajamouli movie, and you can expect unbelievable performances from all the cast members.”
