The shooting for upcoming much hyped movie RRR started in October last year once the lockdown restrictions were eased after the first wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. However, shooting was halted again due to the second wave of Coronavirus.
As lockdown restrictions were eased in Telangana by the government, Rajamouli resumed the shoot. The film has Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, and it is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya. According to the latest report, currently the shoot of RRR is going on at the brisk pace in Sarathi Studios and Rajamouli is canning the crucial scenes. Jr NTR and Ram Charan have already joined the sets.
RRR is set against the backdrop of the pre-independence era. It revolves around the journey of Komaram Bheem, essayed by Young tiger Jr NTR, and Alluri Sitarama Raju, played by Ram Charan. Alia Bhatt, who is making her debut in Telugu film industry with the film, plays the female lead opposite Ram Charan. Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran are also the part of RRR.
Samuthirakhani, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson are also the part of this multilingual drama, which has the music by MM Keeravani. RRR is slated to arrive at the theaters on 13th October 2021.
