The song Naatu Naatu from this film won an Oscar award. On the other hand, Banjara Hills Police arrested Manikanthan, who acted as a side dancer in the song ‘Ettara Jenda’ in this movie.
Going into the details, the watchman raised an objection while Manikanthan was having a fight with four other dancers at Raghava Residency in Banjara Hills. He suggested not to fight in the corridor. Due to this, Manikanthan could not bear his anger and quarreled with the watchman. He pushed him from the third floor. Currently, the watchman is among the dead in the hospital with serious injuries.
The police registered a case on this incident and arrested Manikanthan.
