Natural star Nani starrer Dasara is directed by newcomer Srikanth Odela has a story set in a village in Singareni coal mines in Godavarikhani. National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead. Dasara is to star Nani in a rugged avatar. The makers had released a motion poster that offers a glimpse into the rustic backdrop of the story, along with look tests of the main leads.
Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer of this film. According to the latest report the makers are spending a bomb to erect an extravagant set. The makers are spending over Rs 12 crs to erect an extravagant village set in the outskirts of Hyderabad for the shoot of Dasara where the makers will shoot few crucial scene on Nani and other supporting stars. The village set will spread over 12 acres and Avinash Kolla. the art director for Shyam Singha Roy is overseeing the artwork.
The reports are also coming that the upcoming film is based on real life incidents which took place in a village near Godavari Khani. Srikanth Odela hails from the same region. The major part of the shoot will take place in the village set. Malayalam actor Roshan Mathew has been brought on the board to play the crucial roles.
Apart from the lead actors, the movie also has Samuthirakhani, Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab in the important roles.
