Rocking Star Yash starrer action drama KGF: Chapter 1 was a path-breaking movie for Sandalwood. For the first time in Sandalwood’s history, the content originally made in Kannada gained the viewership from the audience across the nation.
Now everyone is eagerly waiting for the release of KGF: Chapter 2. Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the period action film KGF: Chapter 2 is now slated to hit the theatres on 23rd October. According to the latest update, the satellite rights of KGF: Chapter 2 has been sold to a channel for Rs 120 Cr.
Though it is not known which channel procured the satellite rights of KGF: Chapter 2, but the news has gone viral on social media. An official announcement is yet to be made regarding this deal.
The post production work of the film has been started and the makers of the film have also begun working on the music of the film, which is composed by Ravi Basrur. Directed by Prashanth Neel and bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under his banner, Homable Films, it has Sanjay Dutt and Ranveen Tandon in crucial roles. Sanjay Dutt is essaying the antagonist, Raveena Tandon will play the role of Ramaika Sen with Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead.
