It is known that Mahesh Babu will work with ‘Athadu‘ director Trivikram Srinivas for his next #SSMB28, The yet to be titled film was launched with a puja ceremony at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on 3rd February. The latest is that the regular shooting of the film is expected to start in the second week of July. Pooja Hegde has been brought on the board to play the female lead. The project #SSMB28 marks the second collaboration of Pooja Hegde and Mahesh Babu. The duo earlier worked for Maharshi, under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally which became one of the biggest hits in their careers. In addition, it also marks Mahesh’s third film with Trivikram. The actor-director previously collaborated for two films, Athadu and Khaleja. Reportedly, in the third collaboration, Superstar will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. According to the latest report, business deals have already started for SSMB28 even before the first scene was filmed.
The reports are coming that a prominent USA distributor came forward to offer nearly Rs 20 cr but the makers quoted Rs 25 Cr from overseas for rights, which is a huge amount.
Trivikram Srinivas’ previous offering was Allu Arjun starrer family drama Ala Vaikunthapurramllo which had minted $ 3.5 million dollars in North America. The makers are expecting that #SSMB28 will earn more than 5 million dollars.
