Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy in his upcoming action drama Ruler, which is progressing at the brisk pace and is on the verge of completion. The post-production formalities have already kick-started. The movie is slated to hit the theaters on 20th December. According to the latest update, the makers of Ruler are planning a pre release event, which will take place on 15th December 2019 in Hyderabad in a very grand manner. Who will attend the pre release event of Ruler as chief Guest is not yet known. Touted to be romantic action entertainer, the film will reportedly showcase Balakrishna in dual avatars. Very soon the official announcement will be made regarding the pre release event of Rule’ date and venue.
Recently, the makers have shot a special number on Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vedhika in Munnar. Bollywood bombshell Sonal Chauhan and Kollywood damsel Vedhika are playing the romantic interests to the senior actor Balakrishna, the role of Bhumika Chawla is yet to be revealed. Prakash Raj is playing the key roles.
This movie Ruler is being bankrolled by C Kalyan of C K Entertainment whereas it has music by Chirantan Bhatt, who earlier composed for Balakrishna’s films like ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ and ‘Jai Simha’.
Balakrishna and KS Ravikumar have earlier teamed up for Jai Simha, which turned out to be a successful venture. This film Ruler marks the second collaboration between Balayya and Ravikumar.
Balakrishna was last seen in the biopic of the legendary actor and politician, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. It was released in two parts as – NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu, but ended up commercially flop. NTR biopic had Vidya Balan, Mohan Babu, Sumanth, Keerthy Suresh, Rana Daggubati and others. MM Keeravani composed music for this venture and it was co produced by Balayya Babu.
After wrapping up the shoot of Ruler, Balakrishna will start the shoot of his next upcoming film, which will be directed by Boyapati Srinu.
