SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR starring Young Tiger Jr NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan is the much awaited movie of Indian film industry. It is a big budget project, bankrolled by DVV Danayya. The movie RRR, which is based on pre pre-independence era, is yet to confirm its release date and the makers are keeping the suspense intact.
Meanwhile, there have been rumors that SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture will be out on an OTT platform soon. Pen Studios, who have bought the distribution rights of RRR have busted the rumor and confirmed that Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer will be released in theaters only.
There was also a strong buzz that Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi, and John Abraham starrer action drama Attack will release on digital streaming platforms. However the producer of Pen Studios have denied any such decision.
Dr Jayantilal Gada, chairman and MD of Pen Studios released an official statement that reads: We would like to clarify that RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Attack will release in cinemas/theaters. There have been several rumors doing rounds about these films releasing on OTT platforms before cinemas which are untrue. These movies are made for the big screen experience and would be released in the cinema halls.
