Story of Saaho: A man uses an arsenal of weapons to battle a gang of bad guys in the city. With the city under fire and the lives of the people at risk, the one man has to give everything he has got to take the city back and defect the bad guys.

 Plus Points:

  • Prabhas
  • Shraddha Kapoor
  • Interval twist
  • Climax
  • Action Sequences
  • Visuals

 Minus Points:

  • Weak Story
  • Many Twists

Performance:  Prabhas as Ashok has given a top-notch performance. He is the heart and soul of Saaho. He steals the show. Prabhas grabs the opportunity to work for an action entertainer and shows his other side in this movie Saaho. Shraddha Kapoor as crime branch officer, Amritha Nair is good. She is perfect in her role.

Her chemistry with Prabhas is one of the attractions. Jackie Shroff as Roy is good.  Neil Nitin Mukesh as Jai is ok. Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline looks absolutely stunning in Bad boy song. Rest of the cast including Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Arun Vijay, Prakash Belavadi, Evelyn Sharma, Lal, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Tinnu Anand performs accordingly.

Technical:  Saaho has a predictable and weak storyline.  The movie starts with the villain’s gang.  The serious discussion between the police officers regarding Rs.2000 crores robbery case and the mass entry of Prabhas with an action scene is highlighted. Sujeeth handles the scenes very well. The dialogues are superb.

The songs are shot well on the screen. Background score is noteworthy. Cinematography by R. Madhi is superb and the movie has some fantastic and breathtaking visuals. The Editing by A. Sreekar Prasad is good. The art department has done a superb job. The production values are rich.  The movie is at his best in the technical department.

Analysis:  Prabhas intro, bike chasing scene, interval block, breathtaking visuals are the plus points of Saaho. Among the many villains, Chunkey Pandey stands out with a convincing portrayal of his evil character.  Saaho delivers well as an action extravaganza with an adrenaline-pumping climax.
