B-town girl Saiyami Kher, who worked with Anurag Kashyap in Netflix film ‘Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai’ wrote a lengthy appreciation post for the filmmaker and said his bad boy image in  Hindi film Industry was untrue.

Saiyami Kher talked about the Gangs of Wasseypur’s director’s bad boy of Bollywood image and how different it is from his real life.  Mirzaya actress said, “The first time I met Anurag Kashyap, he called me to his Versova house. Before I could say anything to the director, he said, “My parents live with me. You don’t have to worry!”

Saiyami Kher added that Anurag Kashyap’ life according to the outside world was “riddled with drugs, women & vices.” The truth, I later learnt, was completely the opposite.

Mirzaya fame Saiyami Kher also shared a black and white photograph where Anurag hugging is seen hugging her. She also said that she really got to know Anurag Kashyap in the three years’ time – from the time she was offered the movie Choked to till the date of release.  In Choked, Saiyami Kher shared the screen space with Malayalam hero Roshan Mathew. According to Saiyami, Anusrag has a child-like innocence and open heartedness that is rarely seen in people in present time.

 Saiyami Kher   made her debut in Tollywood with the movie Rey starring Sai Dharam Tej in 2015.
