Finally after the release of action thriller drama Virata Parvam, the actress Sai Pallavi broke silence over her remarks on Kashmir genocide and cow lynching. She issued a clarification after her remarks in an interview on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the 90s triggered a controversy on social media.
Sai Pallavi shared a video on instagram and wrote: Here is my clarification! I wish you all happiness, peace and love! Fidaa girl said that her intention was to convey that violence in the name of religion is a sin and that snippets of the interview were taken out of context. Sai Pallavi added that she would think twice before speaking her heart.
The actress said, “I will be thinking twice before speaking my heart because I am anxious that my words may be misinterpreted.”
Fidaa girl said, “I don’t think any of us has right to take the life of another person. Being a medical graduate, I believe that all lives are equal and all lives are important.” The actress further added, “I hope the day does not come when a child is born and he/ she is scared of his/ her identity.”
We have already reported that a complaint was filed against the actor in Hyderabad by Bajrang Dal leaders who said Sai made derogatory comments on gau rakshaks. she also drew wrath on social media for belittling the tragedy of the Kashmiri Pandits by comparing it with lynching.
