Sai Pallavi created a sensation with her performance in her first Telugu film, Fidaa, which paved the way for many more offers in Telugu. Sai Pallavi is making her Kollywood debut with an upcoming horror flick Karu, which will be released as Kanam in Telugu. According to the latest update, the makers are going to release the second single ‘Jo Lali Jo’ from Kanam today at 8 pm.
The film will touch upon the issue of abortion. Directed by A.L Vijay, best known for helming Devi, Thaandavam and Vanamagan. According to the director, the film will focus on the relationship between a mother and her four-year-old daughter. Apart from Sai Pallavi, the film has other stars like Naga Shaurya and RJ Balaji. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, it has Nirav Shah for cinematography and Antony for the edits.
