Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati and Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi have teamed up for an upcoming periodic drama Virata Parvam. Rana Daggubati is now getting ready to join the sets of Virata Parvam. Though the doctor have advised to take rest for some time and but the actor does not want to sit idle at the home and is planning to start the shoot of Virata Parvam.
Sai Pallavi who is currently busy in the shoot of Sekhar Kammula’ directorial venture has allotted the dates to Rana Daggubati’ Virata Parvam next month. Both the stars Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubati will start the shoot from the month of November, says a source.
Virata Parvam is a period flick, which is predominantly a romantic film with many action sequences. The project of Sai Pallavi and Rana Daagubati starrer was announced a few months ago but went on floors recently.
Rana Daggubati is essaying the role of a Naxalite whereas Sai Pallavi is a folk singer in this film, which is being helmed by Venu Udugula. Few days ago Sai Pallavi’ look from the sets of Virata Parvam was found its way to the Internet, in which she was seen dressed in a half-saree and was seated in what seems like a bus stop.
The sources say that Sai Pallavi will be seen as a poor girl who gets depressed due to love failure and becomes a Naxalite in this film. Virata Parvam is about a face-off between the government and the Naxalite group.
Meanwhile Sai Pallavi will be next seen in Sekhar Kammula’s dance-based love story in which Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is playing the lead role. Currently Rana is on the ninth cloud as his hindi movie Housefull 4 has hit the theaters today and is receiving positive response by the critics and the movie lovers.
