Tamil director Vetrimaaran is currently basking in the glory of his recent offering Aruran starring Kollywood star Dhanush and Manju Warrier. Now according to the latest update, Vetrimaaran has collaborated with Sai Pallavi and Prakash Raj for an upcoming film. The sources say that Vetrimaaran gave his nod for a Netflix anthology that will start shooting very soon. Vetrimaaran has also confirmed that it features Prakash Raj and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. This is the first time Prakash Raj and Sai Pallavi are going to work together for a project, which will be directed by Vetrimaaran.

Prakash Raj and Sai Pallavi who are busy on their ongoing projects are very excited to come on to the board for the Netflix series.

Aruran director Vetrimaaran is making this anthology film with three other filmmakers including Gautham Menon, Vignesh Shivan, and Sudha Kongara. Vignesh Shivan has wrapped up the shooting of his portion for the anthology with Anjali and Kalki Koechlin.

Recently during the media interaction, Vetrimaaran also talked about his upcoming projects and said, “I have narrated the scripts to Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth, Vijay, and Suriya. I tried to approach Ajith long back. “

Vetrimaaran made his directorial debut with Polladhavan, which was released in 2007. His second movie Aadukalam won six National Film Awards. He produced the films under his production company, Grass Root Film Company. His popular movies are Visaaranai, Veda Chennai, Annanukku Jai, Len, etc.

On the other side, Prakash Raj is working with Mahesh Babu for the upcoming much-awaited film Sarileru Neekevvaru, which is being helmed by Anil Ravipudi of F2 Fun and Frustration fame. Sai Pallavi is romancing with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in the upcoming flick, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Sekhar Kammula of Fidaa fame. Sai Pallavi is planning to wrap up the shoot of her part by the end of this year.
