Sai Pallavi, who is popular for her natural performance, made her impressive debut as Malar in Malayalam blockbuster Premam. She created a niche for herself in South cinema by essaying the author-backed roles in content driven films. Surprising everyone by taking a long break to pursue her MBBS, Sai Pallabi returned to the glamour arena with Sekhar Kammula’ directorial venture Fidaa in which she shared the screen space with Mega Prince Varun Tej and the movie was released in 2017. Premam girl received  the glowing praises for her brilliant portrayal as Bhanumati.  Recently Sai Pallavi interacted with media and  shared a lot of things about her acting and characters she picks to act.

Premam girl Sai Pallavi said, “I go through the script two to three times and make sure I fit in the role. If the role is not according to my rules, I politely refuse it.”

Fidaa girl also talked about the glamorous roles and the short dresses. Virata Parvam girl Sai Pallavi said, “The audience looks at me like a girl next door. So, going with glamour roles is quite uncomfortable for my fans and myself as well.”

On the work front, besides romancing Naga Chaitanya in Sekhar Kammula’ directorial venture Love Story, she is essaying the role of a jilted lover in Venu Udugula’ Virata Parvam 1992.
