We have already reported that Fidaa Girl Sai Pallavi has been approached to play the female lead in Natural Star Nani starrer upcoming film Shyam Singha Roy. If Virata Parvam girl signs on the dotted line, the upcoming film will be her second collaboration with Nani after Middle Class Abbayi.
The reports are coming that Sai Pallavi will be playing a traditional girl once again and the actress will be seen wearing half saris again. In Fidaa, Sekhar Kammula’ directorial venture, she wore langa voni, and later in Middle Class Abbayi also, she donned the langa voni. In the first look of poster of Virata Parvam too, she was seen in half sari.
Shyam Singha Roy will be bankrolled by Rahul Sankrityan of Taxiwaala fame and is bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments banner. The project also marks Nani’s second collaboration with the production house Sithara Entertainments after sport based drama Jersey.
Meanwhile, Nani starrer Shyam Singha Roy will feature three heroines and the makers are on the hunt for the remaining two. Touted as the costliest film in the career of Nani, the movie is set against the backdrop of Kolkata. Speculations are rife that Kannada girl Rashmika Mandanna is in talks to play one of the female leads.
