Lady Powerstar Sai Pallavi was last seen in Virata Parvam, a Naxalite backdrop outing. And now, she is appearing on screen again through her upcoming emotional courtroom drama Gargi, a Tamil movie. The film is up for its theatrical debut on July 15. So, the team is progressing its promotional activities at a fast-pace.

They released the film’s trailer yesterday in the evening. It showcases how Sai Pallavi’s life turns upside down when her father is arrested by the police. She tries to meet her father but the police officer who handles the case explain that he was arrested only after the police followed his activities. The police also ask Sai Pallavi to leave the town before she comes under the media’s scanner and gets public attention. The remaining part of the trailer narrates how Gargi fights the case when it is heard in court.

Sai Pallavi’s action as a teacher is stunning and she is the show-stealer all over the well-cut trailer. She comes to face legal proceedings after one of her family members gets accused in a case. We can also witness the characters of Jayaprakash, Kaali Venkat and RS Shivaji, who played pivotal roles in this featuring film.

Gargi is directed by Gautham Ramachandran and financed by Aishwarya Lakshmi, Gautham Ramachandran, Ravichandran Ramachandran and Thomas George. Aishwarya Lakshmi plays a cameo role in the movie. Govind Vasatha composed audio tracks. Gargi is available for its release in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages.
