The creative and talented film maker Prashanth Neel who is known for helming the blockbuster action movie franchise KGF, is currently working with Young Rebel star Prabhas an upcoming much awaited action drama Salaar which has Young Rebel star Prabhas in the lead role. This is the first time Prabhas is working with Krack and Gabbar Singh fame Shruti Haasan in a film. The movie Salaar is carrying a decent buzz among the movie lovers. The sources close to the makers of Salaar revealed that Prabhas starrer has a retro mass story and it will feature the 1971 war between India and Pakistan.
Prashanth Neel’ directorial venture starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan, will be a fictional story based on the Indo-Pak war that took place in 1970.
The action entertainer Salaar is being bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner and it has the music by Ravi Basrur.
Earlier during an interview, Prabhas had said, “This is a very exciting film and my character is extremely violent, so this is something I have not really done before. It’s a pan-Indian film and I can not wait to be on the sets already.” Salaar is expected to hit the theaters next year 2022.
