The action drama Master, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, was much loved upon its release and soon news of it being remade in Bollywood made the news.  There was a strong buzz in the film industry that Bollywood actor Salman Khan was coming on board to play Vijay’s character JD. Now, we have the latest update. The reports are coming that Salman Khan has rejected the Master remake.

Salman Khan has featured in several remakes, including Ready, Dabangg, Jai Ho, and more. The most recent remake  Salman Khan was part of was  Radhe which was released this year and received negative response by the movie lovers.

With the film failing to impress the movie lovers at large, it seems like Salman Khan wants his upcoming films to be different from the originals.  Now he is planning to not act in any remake.

The sources say that though Salman Khan loves the character of JD from Master and believes that it has solid potential to strike chord with the audiences all across. He has not played the role of a drunkard master till date and hence, was very excited to take it up but after delivering the flop movie Radhe, Salman Khan has dropped the idea to act in Master remake.
