Bollywood actor Salman Khan has wrapped the shoot of his most hyped action drama Tiger 3 and it is set to release next year. Currently, the actor has a number of projects in the pipelines and yesterday he joined the sets of his Telugu project Godfather in which megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role. Though an extended cameo, this film will mark Salman Khan’ official debut into the South film industry. The sources say that Salman Khan had one condition to say yes to this project and it was that he doesn’t get paid for it. Salman Khan will act in Chiranjeevi starrer Godfather free of charge. He will not take any remuneration.
Godfather is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Lucifer starring Mohanlal. The sources say that though the makers of Godfather were keen to pay a fancy amount to Khan. However, he was clear from the first day that he will be doing this film due to his love and respect for megastar Chiranjeevi.
Godfather also has lady Superstar Nayanthara, Harish Uthaman, Sachin Khedekar, Nassar and Satyadev Kancharana in pivotal roles.
Salman Khan was last seen in Antim co starring Ayush Sharma, which was just an average at the box office.
