Several hashtags such as #BoycottSalmanKhan, JusticeForSushantSinghRajput, #BoycottStarKids and #BoycottBollywood started to trend on Twitter. Many people have alleged that the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was being discriminated against in the film industry as he was an outsider and not a star kid like Karan Johar or Salman Khan.
Salman Khan trended a great deal for one week on Twitter with Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’ fans raging against him. He responded to the hatred and cursing against him from all the fans of Sushant Singh Rajput. Salman Khan requested his fans to support Sushant Singh Rajput’ fans and not get affected by the language and the curses used against him. Salman Khan said, “Please support and stand by Sushan Singh Rajput’ family and fans as the loss of a loved one is extremely painful.” But his tweet did not go well with the people.
Many angry users lashed out at Salman Khan saying that ‘ he is only acting’ and trolled him demanding justice for Sushant Singh Rajput.
