Parkour uses the movement that developed from the military obstacle course training. It includes free-running, running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, quadrupedal movement, plyometric, rolling, and other movements. Parkour’s development from the military training gives it some aspects of the non-combative martial art.
