Samantha Akkineni is very happy as Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru and Stylish Star Allu Arjun starrer action and family drama Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo are receiving a positive response by the movie lovers. Samantha Akkineni took to her Twitter to congratulate Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru respectively.
In the past, Samantha and Mahesh Babu have worked together for family drama Brahmotsavam, which was released in 2016. The movie was directed by Srikanth Addala and produced by Prasad V. Potluri under the banner PVP cinema. On the other side, Samantha has shared the screen space with Stylish Star Allu Arjun starrer S/O Sathyamurthy in 2015. It was directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S. Radha Krishna for Haarika & Haasine Creations. Though S/O Sathyamurthy was superhit Brahmotsavam was commercially flopped at the box office. Samantha Akkineni is a good friend of Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu. And as both the movies are crushing pre-existing records at the box office, Samantha is very happy and she congratulated both the stars.
On the work front, Samantha Akkineni will be next seen in romantic drama Jaanu, which is being directed by Prem Kumar. It is a remake of Tamil Super hit movie 96 starring Trisha Krishnan and Vijay Sethupathi. In Jaanu, Samantha will be seen romancing with Sharwanand.
