If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Samantha Akkineni is going to test her luck in web series. Apparently, Samantha is in talks for a show which is being backed by Amazon Prime. It is known news that Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati, Navdeep, Madhavan, and Jagapathi Babu have already forayed in Web Series and now it is the turn of Samantha to make her presence in web series.
Recently during the media interaction, when Samantha Akkineni was asked if there is any truth in the news, she didn’t deny it. Samantha Akkineni is likely to announce if she is making her foray into web series or not once the things are confirmed.
Currently Samantha Akkineni is enjoying the success of her recent offering Oh Baby, which was released on 5th July. It is remake of Korean movie Miss Granny and is helmed by Nandini Reddy. Apart from her, Oh Baby also has Naga Shaurya and Lakhsmi in supporting roles. She will also be seen playing guest roles in upcoming romantic entertainer Manmadhudu 2 in which Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet Singh are playing the lead roles. She will also start shooting for 96 Telugu remake, in which young actor Sharwanand is playing the lead role.
