Samantha Akkineni is one of the celebrated actresses in the South film industry. She made her debut in 2010 and then went on to become one of the most sought-after actresses in the country. In Tollywood, Samantha Akkineni was last seen in director C Prem Kumar’ directorial venture Jaanu, which released in theatres in 2020. Recently she made her debut in Hindi with the web drama The Family Man 2 where she essayed the role of Raazi. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Samantha Akkineni is planning to buy a new flat in Mumbai.
Apparently Samantha Akkineni is being approached by several film makers with exciting offers that is the main reason she is planning to make her nest in Mumbai too.
On the work front, Samantha is now busy in her upcoming film, Shaakuntalam, which is being directed by Gunasekhar of Rudhramadevi fame, where she is playing the titular character. She will also be sharing screen space with Dev Mohan in the film. Samantha and Dev Mohan starrer Shaakuntalam, is being made as a pan-India film and it’s Hindi version will have a huge release across North India.
Apart from Shaakuntalam, Samantha Akkineni has director Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal with Vijay Sethupathi and lady Superstar Nayanthara.
