Post wedding the couple Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya teamed up for sport based romantic and emotional dram Majili, which was declared hit at the box office. Once again, Samantha has decided to give another chance to her hubby Naga Chaitanya.
If the reports are anything to go by, the real couple Samantha and Naga Chaitanya will be seen essaying the lead pair in the upcoming film titled Bangarraju, which will be bankrolled by Akkineni Nagarjuna under his home banner Annapurna Studios.
King Nagarjuna is reportedly in talks with the director Kalyan Krishna Kurasala for the sequel to 2016 hit film Soggade Chinni Nayana in which he essayed the dual role and romanced with Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi. Bangarraju will mark the fourth time collaboration of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya after Ye Maya Chesave, Manam, Autonagar Surya and Majili. However, an official announcement regarding it is awaited.
Samantha was last seen in fantasy drama Oh Baby, which is helmed by Nandini Reddy and currently she is sharing the screen space with Sharwanand in 96 remake. On the otherside, Naga Chaitanya is romancing with Raashi Khanna in upcoming multistarrer Venky Mama, which also has Venkatesh Daggubati and Payal Rajput in lead roles.
