She has also joined the sets of upcoming film Pushpa: The Rish, helmed by Sukumar, where she will be seen shaking a leg for the special song with icon Star Allu Arjun.
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently filming for the mythological drama Shaakuntalam written and directed by Gunasekhar who is known for helming Rudhramadevi. The movie is based on the ancient play Abhijnanasakuntalam by Kalidasa. Samantha is essaying the role of Shakuntala while Malayalam actor Dev Mohan as Dushyanta. She has also wrapped up Vignesh Shivan’s directorial film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal along with lady superstar Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.
