Naga Chaitanya and Samantha (Akkineni) Ruth Prabhu got married in 2017. Before that Sam and Chaitu were in a relationship for many years. It’s been four years since Chaitu and Sam have been married. And while everything seemed to be going well for the two until last year, 2021 has been buzzing with their separation rumors. Few are also saying that couple has already started living separately and are soon planning to file for divorce.
In 2019, during an interview, Samantha Akkineni had talked about how she has changed the trend of ‘married actresses have no career’ in the industry. Rangasthalam and Oh Baby fame lady had said, “When I tied the knot with Chaitu, I did so with no hope of a career in the film industry because of what’ happened before me and all examples of the actresses who got married.
And they took break from their careers only to never come back. I did not have that desire to prove anything to anyone or say that ‘I am going to change this trend in the industry. It just happened. My wedding had no bearing on my career. My family members have been super supportive.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been working straight for twelve years with no break. Recently she signed an upcoming project which will be helmed by a newcomer and bankrolled by Sridevi Movies productions.
