Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a popular name in South Indian film Industry and recently she made her debut on OTT platform with web drama The Family Man 2 in which she played the negative role. The actress has also acted in a number of women centric movies like U Turn. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Samantha would play the second female lead in natural star Nani starrer upcoming film Dasara. But now the reports are coming that Samantha Ruth Prabhu has rejected Nani starrer Dasara as she is not interested to play the second female lead in a movie.
Few days ago, Nani made an official announcement regarding Dasara which will be helmed by Srikanth Odela. Already the film has National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh as the heroine, and now the hunt for the second lead is on.
Nani and Keerthy Suresh starrer Dsara is bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri and it will be made on the lavish budget.
Last seen in Jaanu, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is also in talks to feature in her maiden Hindi film bankrolled by Taapsee Pannu. She will also be seen playing the lead role in Gunasekhar’ magnum opus Shaakunatalam.
