Uyare is directed by Manu Ashokan, scripted by Bobby-Sanjay and produced by the sister-trio, daughters of producer P. V. Gangadharan, Shenuga, Shegna and Sherga. The film stars Parvathy, Asif Ali and Tovino Thomas in lead roles. Uyare is the first Malayalam movie and Second Indian movie to release in South Korea.
Parvathy essayed the role of Pallavi, an air hostess who survives an acid attack. The actress has left no stone unturned to get into the skin of the character and has pulled off the role brilliant.
