Samantha, who has gained nationwide popularity, has signed a Hollywood film. It is said that Samantha has achieved another rare feat. Samantha will play the female lead in an English/ Hollywood movie with the title Chennai Story. It is a love story between a foreign boy and a Chennai girl. Hollywood actor Vivek Kalra is playing the lead role. Philip John is the director of the film and the movie will go on the floor very soon.
According to media reports, ‘Chennai Story’ revolves around a young man who travels to his homeland – Chennai, after his mom passes away. He while in search of his estranged father meets a woman, a private detective whom he hires to assist him. Chennai Girl is said to be based on the novel ‘Arrangement of Love’.
Currently, Samantha is participating in the shooting of Khushi and Citadel. It is reported that the shoot of Khushi which has the young sensation of Tollywood Vijay Deverakonda is in the final stages. Soon the makers will start the post production.
