South beauty Samantha Akkineni, who made her Hindi debut in The Family Man Season 2, has been winning praise thanks to her performance. Akkineni Bahu played the role of the antagonist Raji in the web series. This was Samantha’s first deglamorized role, where she was seen doing some demanding action sequences. It was also the first time in her career that she was seen holding a gun. Now, according to the latest buzz in the entertainment industry, Samantha Akkineni has bagged another OTT project.
Samantha Akkineni has apparently signed a Bollywood OTT project that will be helmed by Raj & DK, the creator of The Family Man 2.
The sources say that Raj & DK who recently worked with Samantha Akkineni for The Family Man Season 2 were impressed with her commitment and once again they roped her for their next project. The OTT project which is a web drama will be bankrolled by a top OTT platform and soon the official announcement regarding this project will be made.
Samantha will start working on the project early next year. Currently she is waiting for the release of Gunasekhar’ magnum opus Shaakuntalam in which she is playing the titular role and Dev Mohan is playing King Dushyanta.
