Samantha has started Christmas celebration. She is planning to hold massive celebrations for Christmas and New Year. Usually, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha celebrate all the festivals equally irrespective of the religion. Samantha took to her Instagram to share a pic of her Christmas celebration and captioned it, “These cuties and our yearly tradition. decorating my Christmas tree. The most beautiful month of the year..so much gratitude for the year that has [email protected] @sadhnasingh1 #christmas.
Samantha Akkineni, who is born Christian, is going to have special plans for Christmas. According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, the actress decided to throw a huge Christmas party for her friends at her residence in Hyderabad.
On the work-side, this year Samantha Akkineni has delivered a number of hit movies. The year started with Sukumar’s directorial venture, the village based drama Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan which collected more than Rs 150 Cr and turned out non Baahubali hit. This was the first time, when Samantha Akkineni shared the screen space with Ram Charan Teja. The second release of the year for Samantha was a special one since it was a biopic on South Indian legendary actress Savitri, directed Nag Ashwin in which Keerthy Suresh played the titular role whereas Samantha played the journalist. Later she came with bilingual drama Irumbu Thirai/ Abhimanyudu, which starred Vishal in lead role. The movie went on to become a Superhit.
Samantha was last seen in bilingual Tamil-Telugu movie U Turn, directed by Pawan Kumar, the remake of Kannada movie of same name. U-Turn, the murder mystery thriller drama turned out to be another hit in 2018 making it four in a row for Samantha this year.
Currently Samantha is sharing the screen space with her husband Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in Majili. She is also working with Nandini Reddy’s directorial venture, the remake of Korean movie Miss Granny, in which Naga Shaurya is playing the lead role.
