Samantha Ruth Prabhu has a number of projects in her kitty and one of them is women centric film Yashoda. The first glimpse of Yashoda was unveiled on 5th May that grabbed the attention of everyone. In the glimpse, Samantha was seen waking up from sleep and shocked to see that everything around her has changed. Ever since the glimpse of Yashoda is out, there are rumors that the upcoming film of Samantha Ruth Prabhu is based on the line of vintage film Kokila. The sources say that is a suspense thriller drama. And added that Yashoda is all about the story of Samantha Ruth Prabhu being locked in a mental asylum and her fight with the goons.
In the month of March, the makers of Yashoda revealed that Hollywood stunt master Yannick Ben has been brought on board to choreograph the action sequences. And in this film Samantha will be seen performing the action sequences. The sources say that Hari and Harish duo have given some ultimate twists to the story of Yashoda.
Unni Mukandan, the Malayalam actor, who is best known for acting in Anushka starrer Bhaagamathie and Jr NTR starrer Janatha Garage, is playing the lead role in this film which is directed by the duo Hari and Harish.
Yashoda will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Mani Sharma and M Sukumar are taking care of music and cinematography, respectively.
