Samantha Akkineni is currently busy in the promotional activities of her upcoming movie Oh Baby, the remake of Korean movie Oh Baby. The movie is slated to hit the theaters on 5th July. Recently the team of Oh Baby organized the pre release event of Oh Baby, Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati and Victory Venkatesh attended the event as the chief guest. On this occasion Samantha thanked Naga Shaurya for signing up.
Samantha said:
“I felt happy when Suresh Babu said that this was the first time a girl from the Ramanaidu family is doing movies. So I worked really hard. I learnt comic timing from Rajendra Prasad garu. Also, Naga Shaurya’ role is going to be the highlight of the film, and I thank him for signing up.”
Earlier during the shoot of Oh Baby, Samantha made sensational comments on Naga Shaurya by saying that doing a romantic song with Naga Shaurya is the worst. He is so shy. She added, “We talked about dogs very romantically all throughout to bring in that romance.”
The director Nandini Reddy said, “I felt tense whenever Naga Shaurya was on set because he’s so shy. He runs 20 feet away from the heroine so Samantha used to talk to him about dogs, finding common ground. So in every romantic shot from the movie, they will be talking about dogs.”
